Yaletown Dentistry  /  Services  /  Full-arch reconstruction

Full-arch
reconstruction.

When there is not much left worth saving, a whole arch can be replaced with fixed teeth on implants. The consultation with our implant consultant costs nothing.

In one paragraph

What it is.

A full arch means the whole upper or lower jaw: a set of fixed teeth carried on a small number of implants. They are not removed at night and they are not a denture.

At Yaletown Dentistry this service runs under the New Teeth Today name. It is part of this practice: the same rooms, the same team, and one bill.

Detail

The specifics.

Who it suits

People facing the loss of most of an arch, or already wearing a denture they cannot get on with.

Fixed teeth

Fixed in place. Daily cleaning and regular professional maintenance are still needed.

The consultation

Free, with our implant consultant, with imaging needs and any additional fees explained before proceeding.

Sedation

Available, with a certified dental anesthesiologist in the building.

Bone

An assessment and imaging help determine whether grafting or another approach is appropriate.

Timeline

Treatment and healing take place in stages. Your dentist explains the proposed schedule and follow-up.

Money

What it costs.

You get an itemised written estimate before anything starts. We bill your insurance directly, so you usually pay only your own portion on the day, and the Canadian Dental Care Plan is accepted. In-house financing is available through PaySpyre, so treatment can be paid for over time.

Questions.

What does full-arch treatment cost?

It depends on the arch, the number of implants and what goes on top, so we do not quote before seeing a scan. The written estimate comes out of the free consultation.

Is this the same as All-on-4?

All-on-4 is one protocol within full-arch treatment. Which approach suits you depends on your bone and your bite, and that is decided at the consultation.

Can I have teeth the same day?

In some cases yes. It depends on how solid the implants are once placed, which cannot be promised in advance.

Will it hurt?

Local anaesthetic is used, and sedation may be an option after assessment. Recovery and discomfort vary; your team will explain aftercare.
